Friends of Germantown Streamside Reserve

Germantown Streamside Reserve is located approximately 6 kilometres south of Bright, in North East Victoria, Australia. Running a little over 2 kilometres between the Germantown and Freeburgh bridges, the area falls under the management of Parks Victoria on the east bank of the Ovens River and DEPI on the west bank. The Friends of Germantown Streamside Reserve have developed and maintained the Reserve as a natural habitat to be enjoyed and appreciated by the broader community. The project has been greatly assisted by our partners including Parks Victoria, Upper Ovens Valley Landcare Group and  Beechworth Landmates and DEPI.

Stone wall water sluices, remnants of the gold rush era can be viewed at various locations within the Reserve.
